I was wondering what year the population data is from?
I need to source it and need to know how reliable the population data is.
Hopefully someone can help me, thanks in advance!
As far as I can figure out it comes from OSM itself.

sorry for the late reply.
We are using GHSL data, see Data - openrouteservice documentation.
The data set is from 2019, while the data itself is from 2015.
