Using the “low RAM configuration” new in v8, what are reasonable system requirements for completing a planet-scale build? This project will use a single driving profile.

I’m not sure about a planet-wide build, but some internal testing revealed that for Europe the limit is somewhere around 10 GB for the car profile in single-threaded mode. Please note that we used a PBF filtered through osm-transform as input (which yields a reduced file size of 9 GB compared to the original 29 GB). My guess would be that for planet you would need a machine equipped with at least 32 GB of RAM.
