Hello, I am a student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. I am currently working with a group of students to build an application to help navigate the collage campus and its buildings. Right now ORS pathing will get us directly under our destination and then stop. This is to be expected as it is only using lat/long cords. We currently have all of our footways assigned with an appropriate level tag, as well as stairwells and elevators traversing multiple levels. We are wondering if there is a way to use OSM level tags to allow ORS to understand building floors. Perhaps there is a way we could take advantage of the level tag in addition to the lat/long cords to achieve this goal? Would it be more appropriate to use the elevation data? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
