Unexpected driving time in matrix

Hello,

Last week we did get some unexpected results regarding to driving times. We got back something like 19 minutes where it should have been like 9 minutes.
My question now is, does the api use live traffic information to calculate results? The was a road accident wich caused a traffic jam, so this could explain it. If not, are there other explanations?

We use it for the firebrigade. Hence the problem with traffic jams, since this is often our destination.

we currently don’t use traffic information. Please take a look at how we calculate our travel speeds.

that’s hard to say without the actual request you are making.
Most probably it is due to some sections over ways with a low default speed.
