Travel time penalties for crossing roads with foot-walking

Hi there,

I’ve been wondering if there are any time penalties applied for the foot walking profile when looking to use a pedestrian crossing in the creation of travel time isochrones.

I see that the foot-walking profile uses an assumed walk speed of 5kmh-1 but could not find any information on time petalites for crossing a pedestrian crossing with lights present (pelican crossing - of course for a zebra crossing, pedestrians have right of way)

Is the travel time assumed to be the distance of the crossing/walking speed, or is there say a 20 second penalty as one waits for the lights to change?

Many thanks

Hey,

currently, no penalty is applied as traffic lights are not taken into account.
Thus, travel time is calculated from distance of crossing and walking speed.

Best regards
