Routing skips to 0, 0 when a point to a route

I’m unsure if my post fits in this category, but don’t know which would be the right category.

When creating another waypoint via the “Add place input” button, the new waypoint receives the coordinate 0, 0 until another location is specified. This makes the displayed area unnecessarily large and the area of the actual route shrinks considerably, causing unnecessary refocusing.

yes, this is a known issue.
You can subscribe to the issue on github too see when it’s resolved, but I’ll cross-reference your question in the issue :slight_smile:

Hi, i still have the same problem, everytime i add a destination on my route the map zooms out

Or is it zooming to point 0,0 (somewhere in the ocean)

That does not help, then it crashes when ‘calculating route’ and i need to close my browser

You can try reloading the page. The settings should be saved.
Which browser are you using?

Hmm strange,

i checked right now on Google Chrome 93.0.4577.63 but can’t reproduce.
Could you maybe do a step by step list on how you create the route?
(e.g. 1.rightclick map: choose “Directions from here” 2. …)

Regarding crashing:

  • is it basically a screen freeze, or can you still do interactions?
  • can you still change to other tabs, and are they working?

If you press F12 in your browser and go to Console tab, and then do the route, is there an error showing up?
