Can any one suggest me how much ram and memory is required for 8gb osm file. I configured server with 32 gb and 64 hard disk but i am getting java.lang.OutOfMemoryError - java heap size.

Hey,
a rough estimate would be twice the pbf file’s size for one profile.
If your pbf is 8GB in size, you could probably build two profiles on your server.

The output is showing that a maximum has been set to ~8GB - if your pbf file is 8GB in size then you need to set the heap to be at least 16GB.
