How can I set up a api key for GET requests api_key parameter?

Hey,

if you’re running your own openrouteservice instance, there’s no need for the api_key parameter.
You can just send requests .

If you’re using the public API, you can apply for an account here and then generate a key in the dashboard. Usage instructions can be found here.

I’m running openrouteservice in a azure container (I hope this counts as on on premise) so was hoping I could set a api key in config somewhere.

I don’t know whether running ors in an azure container counts as “on premise”, but I’d certainly count it as “running your own openrouteservice instance”, meaning you don’t need the api_key parameter.
