Making locally hosted ORS available outside the server

Hello

I have installed ors on a locally hosted ubuntu vm inside windows machine. I have opened port 8080 for external communication on the server. My application is working fine locally but I dont seem to be able to access it from public network outside the server.

I have tried updating the docker-compose.yml file to update the host to server ip as well as 0.0.0.0 but nothing seems to work.

am i missing something ? Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hey,

if you’re able to access it on the server, but not from outside, then this is not an issue of the openrouteservice but rather of your local network setup.
