How to convert links to routes from modern to classic? I saved couple of links using new ui but when try to open it I only have start and end point without way points 
I my case that was hiking routes so both points are in same location

there is not really a conversion. You could however save the routes as a geojson in the new maps client, and import it as geojson in the classic one and then adjust the waypoints to produce the same result.
