i apply for collaborative plan but i am rejected? may i ask why?. my app is for academic and im not profitting in it. may i ask why i am rejected?. its just frustrating, i send the link to our application where it can be downloaded. i tell my purpose but maybe its not enough. or our project is too simple. anyways thank you for making the openrouteservice api key free. we really appreciate it especially me a broke student.
Hey,
collaborative plan requests may be rejected for a variety of reasons such as
- not having an organizational e-mail
(as we want the account to be connected to your organizational, not your private identity) - the standard plan being enough
(as some people apply without thinking about what they need beforehand) - not being eligible
(as we only support some, not all use cases) - …
In almost all cases, the rejection e-mail states the reason for rejection. In case it is unclear (or, which I don’t hope, not present), you can answer to the mail stating your point.
Two small pointers that may or may not help you:
- If you state an academic use case, it might make sense to include details about your programme course to explain what the goal is and whether the use will continue or if it’s only for a single course or similar.
- If you link to your application, make sure that you link trustworthy sources (such as official app stores) so that people know they can trust your code and not execute anything on their machines.
Best regards
ouh thank you. i just seen the email today. its said the email i used which is this one is not an organizational email. and i put a link from google drive to the application. thank you so much for answering. i truly appreciate it.
