Foot-hiking routing avoids location

I have an issue with the Louki Couloir, a trail leading to Mytikas, in Mount Olympus, Greece. (Λούκι Μύτικα)

When placing route waypoints directly on this trail using the OpenRouteService Directions API (foot-hiking profile), the computed route consistently avoids the trail and reroutes around it, regardless of how many waypoints are placed along it. The trail is visible and named on standard map tiles (OpenStreetMap-based).

a search for “Louki Couloir” on OSM comes up empty.
Would you mind sharing what way you are talking about exactly, ideally as a link to OSM?

Hey,

this path is tagged with sac_scale=demanding_alpine_hiking, and as is detailed in the tag filtering documentation, this is not an allowed tag for the foot-hiking profile.
