What are the default vehicle specifications (weight, height, length, width, axle load, etc.) for the HGV profile

There are no defaults for the HGV vehicle specifications. These parameters are taken into account only once the corresponding restriction has been set by the user under options.profile_params.restrictions.

Hey,

if I understand correctly, if the parameters are not set, any tags regarding width, height and so on will just not be taken into account.

Consider a bridge with a height=4m tag on it, meaning that vehicles with a height over 4m cannot pass.

If you do not pass any parameter, this will just not influence routing, as if it wasn’t there. Once you set a height in your request, it will be taken into account.
