Hey.

I have a question about the new Openrouteservice Web Client [routing.heigit.org](https://routing.heigit.org/ors/) that was [announced](https://ask.openrouteservice.org/t/new-web-client-shutting-down-old-clients/8072) today. Is it possible to specify the route parameters directly in the URL similar to how it can be done in the [old maps.openrouteservice.org Web client](https://ask.openrouteservice.org/t/route-parameters-with-the-new-maps-openrouteservice/2737)?

Hey,

no, this is unfortunately not possible.
As this is a feature that would have to be implemented in Masterportal itself, we do not think that this is coming soon.

We do recognize the need though, so thank you very much for your message.
We are thinking about different ways of re-enabling at least some of the functionality that was given by this.

A note to anyone else coming across this:
Feel free to ❤ either the original message or this response, so we know whether this is a much-needed feature!

Best regards

Hey,

I store URLs for routes and locations in Excel so that users can easily open them.

This significantly simplifies their daily work and saves a lot of time.

It’s a pity that this feature is missing in the new client.

Best regards
