Hello folks,
today I’m entered in ‘[Dashboard | ORS](https://openrouteservice.org/dev/#/login)’, and I have seen that you have deployed a new interface. I searched for, but I don’t found a pair of stuffs:

- How I can add a new token, and how I can set the token name
- How I can change the graph start/end dates, to view my past token’s usage

Maybe the new interface is a little… poor, but maybe it’s prettier than the previous one. Anyway… thanks for your work!

Hey,

thanks for the feedback 🙂

After having logged in, you should be in a tab called `API Key`, where next to `Basic Key` it should have your basic key, with the _Copy_ button next to it.

By default, you always have a basic key, so no need to add a new token anymore 🙂

As stated in

> [@Upcoming Migration to HeiGIT User Management (2025-02-25 10:00 CET)](https://ask.openrouteservice.org/t/upcoming-migration-to-heigit-user-management-2025-02-25-10-00-cet/6919/2):

> Short update regarding migration tomorrow: Importing users into the new system will take some time. We hope to be done by 18:00 CET. Further infos for after the migration: If you have previously signed up for a newsletter (even though we haven’t sent those for quite some time snail …), you will have to sign up again. As this will be a newsletter for everything HeiGIT does, which also includes updates for ORS. These will be handled by our Outreach team and will be arriving more frequently…

API keys don’t have a custom name anymore.

Regarding seeing your usage, first note that, should it be collapsed, you can click on “openrouteservice” and see your currently remaining quota.

As for viewing past usage, this was a feature we had to remove as it was creating issues, but we are working on re-implementing it 🙂

Best regards

Regarding a re-implementation:

Would you like to see past usage in a self-defined window, meaning is it important to you to see your usage in a selected week three weeks ago, or would you just like a better overview of your past usage, meaning an overview of the last month would be sufficient?

Thanks for any input on this,
best regards

Hello jschnell,
thanks for the answer.

Ok, I all understood. Only a thing: I worked 40 years about web, gui, interfaces, web user experience… and so on, then I should tell you that the link in '“openrouteservice” is a little bit … hidden. Maybe it could be better have a specific button. Again, it’s not clear if the token has an expiration date, in other sites this is an important information.
Finally, I appreciated the old ‘viewing past usage’ features, effectively I had some issue, but not problems… I will wait the new implementation 😉

Anyway, thanks for your work!

About your last question, I think is not necessary (for me) a predefined view, instead I would like to use the possibility to choose any past period
