We are very sad to announce, that we will not continue providing mapsurfer tiles.
As already stated a month ago
we were having difficulties with our server responsible for generating the tiles.
After evaluation we came to the desicion, that we will discontinue the mapsurfer tile service.
Our colleagues who were most experienced with the Mapsurfer.NET framework left our group already a while ago. Due to limited personnel we are unable to distribute human ressources to the task of setting up the whole framework again.
We will keep all the mapsurfer enpoints to provide the cached tiles until end of june 2020.
Afterwards they will be removed.
