I assume you were trying to use the isochrones API via our API playground at
Dashboard | ORS.
This is a known issue with session sharing between account.heigit.org and openrouteservice.org and has nothing to do with the openrouteservice servers.
More information can be found in the FAQ that you linked.
What of this have you tried, what is not working? The “last resort” mentioned there should work in any case.

Thank you for reaching out. I’d like to confirm that the service is indeed working. As you noted, the issue encountered seems to be related to session sharing between account.heigit.org and openrouteservice.org rather than with our openrouteservice servers themselves.
When I use the “last resort”, the openrouteservcice is working correctly.
